Why volunteer for JLF@Boulder? Because volunteers are the lifeblood of the Festival!

JLF@Boulder, Colorado returns for a second edition 9/24 & 25/2016 at the Boulder Public Library! Celebrate and savor a feast of intellect, diversity, excellent writing, music, ideas, conversation and it’s FREE!

JLF@Boulder is back and we’d like to invite you to join us as a volunteer!

Last year’s inaugural Festival was an astounding event. Ninety renowned authors traveled to Boulder to interact across 45 panels, sparking lively and broad-ranging conversations among Festival-goers and panelists alike. Twelve world-class musicians offered a heart-filled collage of musical styles from around the world. Eleven workshops opened up spaces for families and children to explore exotic outer realms and rich inner worlds. If you missed last year’s Festival, you can still stream the programs at:

The 2016 JLF@Boulder will be held September 23-25 at the Boulder Public Library’s Main Branch
(1001 Arapahoe Ave).

Volunteers help to make sure our authors and artists are well taken care of and arrive at their venues on time. Volunteers ensure that all of the Festival grounds are inviting, well maintained and ready for action. Volunteers manage the venues, welcoming panelists and Festival-goers, handling set-up and and keeping the program moving on time. Volunteers handle registration and information tables, oversee book-signing opportunities, assist press and media representatives, and provide support to Festival organizers in a host of other ways. Last year, more than 100 people volunteered their time and energy to make the inaugural Festival a success.
